The Story

Why I coach

I had a baby at the age of 42, followed by a miscarriage 2 years later. I was in survival mode with a toddler and so much grief that I couldn’t focus on my physical state at the time. I went into menopause at the age of 45 without me paying any attention to my symptoms which were blatantly obvious, until a friend of mine gently pushed me to attend a menopause circle. She had quietly observed me suffering with all the symptoms and could no longer stand by without doing anything. She kindly joined me to the event. The circle meeting where women shared their experiences was eye opening. I was indeed in menopause and not some strange post birth/post miscarriage physical weirdness, which is what I had told myself. I thought: “What, so soon? At this age?”I didn’t want it to be true.

BUT

What I discovered is that menopause is not an ending, but a profound opening. It’s a chance to re-align, to let go of what no longer serves us, and to step into a deeper version of who we are. Too often, though, women are forced to navigate this stage alone, unsure where to turn for guidance, support, or even a space to talk openly.

That is why I became a menopause coach. My mission is to bring together my background in healthcare, my experience as a senior leader, and my passion for supporting women in transition. I want to help women see menopause not as a loss, but as a transformational chapter—an opportunity to connect inward, rediscover their voice, and emerge with renewed purpose.

With both clinical training and leadership expertise, I understand the physical, emotional, and professional dimensions of this journey. And I know that when women are supported, informed, and empowered, they thrive—not just for themselves, but for everyone around them.

Experience Matters

For more than 15 years, I built my career as a senior leader in the tech world, guiding teams, shaping strategy, and navigating the complexities of fast-moving industries. Before that, I trained and worked as a pediatric nurse, where I learned the deep importance of care, listening, and meeting people where they are.

Those two experiences—nursing and leadership—taught me how to balance compassion with clarity, and people with progress. But like so many women, I reached a point where my own midlife journey invited me to pause and reflect. Menopause wasn’t just a physical transition—it became a turning point, a call to examine how I wanted to live and lead in this next stage of life.
